Dr. Diane Petersen’s Story

Tri Delta is collecting information for our Foundation Trustee and sister Diane Petersen to help share the story of her joining Tri Delta at Ohio Wesleyan University in 1965. We would love to hear from you.

Why is this important?

Who are the brave, bold and kind Ohio Wesleyan Tri Deltas that brought Diane Petersen into Tri Delta as the first Black member of our organization? Our goal is to digitally capture and preserve historic moments in Tri Delta, especially Diane’s story—and that of her sisters and fellow Ohio Wesleyan students—for future generations of Tri Deltas. Today, so much of our experience is digital and often happens too quickly to capture. In order for people in the future to understand Tri Delta’s history, we must intentionally save our stories.
